Day 0
Arrival day at a budget hotel in Nakapiripirit town. There’s a briefing before dinner. Traditional dinner and breakfast are included. Accommodation is not included, but we can suggest places based on your budget.

Day 1
This is the toughest day, covering the most distance and elevation. We hike 11 km to reach the campsite at 2,450m, just below the summit plateau. The trail starts at the mountain’s base, passing through gardens before entering a dense tropical forest. The climb is steep, under thick tree cover.

The path varies—soft soil in the forest, gravel near rock walls, and some granite sections requiring hand-foot climbs. After 1,000m of ascent, we take breaks before reaching 2,450m for a clear view back to the start. The final stretch takes us through a higher-altitude forest to the campsite.

Day 2
We descend steeply back to Nakapiripirit town, arriving around 10-11 AM. A traditional lunch and a shower room are included. Accommodation isn’t provided; we recommend heading to Moroto, Kidepo Valley, Pian Upe Wildlife Reserve, or Sipi Falls afterwards.
