Day 1: Arrival & The Gateway to Elgon

Your journey begins with a scenic transition from the city to the mountains.

Answer: Absolutely. Safety is our #1 priority. We use UIAA-certified climbing equipment (Petzl, Black Diamond, etc.) that is inspected daily. Every guest receives a comprehensive safety briefing before the 100-meter descent. You don’t need prior experience—just a spirit for adventure!

2. How difficult are the Sipi Falls hiking tours?

Answer: Our standard hike is considered “moderate.” While there are some steep sections and mud (depending on the season), our local guides pace the tour to match your fitness level. Because Sipi sits at over 1,700m elevation, we take frequent breaks to ensure you stay comfortable and hydrated.
