Welcome to Mulima Mountain Adventures. By using our website or booking any tour or service with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Definitions

We / Us / Our refers to Mulima Mountain Adventures.

You / Client / Guest / Traveller refers to any person booking or participating in the tours, hikes, or other services.

Booking means the reservation of a tour, hike, activity, accommodation, or related service provided by us.

Services includes all hiking, abseiling, rock‑climbing, coffee tours, nature walks, culture & safari tours, transport and accommodation services connected to our offerings.
2. Booking & Confirmation

A booking is confirmed once you pay the required deposit or full amount (as specified), and we send you a confirmation (via email or other agreed communication).

You must provide accurate and complete information, including names, contact details, any relevant health conditions, mobility issues, or other special requirements.

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse a booking if you provide false, misleading or insufficient information.
3. Pricing & Payment

All prices quoted are in the currency shown on the website (e.g. Ugandan Shillings or USD) and reflect what is included (guide fees, park fees, some meals, accommodation when applicable) as per the description of the tour.

Any items or services not explicitly included (transport outside itinerary, additional meals, tips, drinks, optional activities) are your responsibility.

A deposit may be required at booking; the balance must be paid by a date we specify (usually before the tour begins). Payment methods will be communicated to you; any bank or transaction fees are normally borne by the client, unless otherwise stated.
4. Cancellations, Refunds & Rescheduling

If you cancel [specify period, e.g. 48‑72 hours] before the scheduled tour/activity, you may receive a full or partial refund (depending on how much notice).

Cancellations made too close (less than the specified notice period), or failure to show (“no‑show”), may incur full charges.

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule tours/activities due to weather, safety concerns, or other force majeure events. In such circumstances, we will offer a full refund or alternative arrangement.

If you request to re‑schedule your tour/activity, please provide notice in advance; changes are subject to availability and any additional costs.
5. Health, Safety & Risks

You are responsible for ensuring you are physically capable of undertaking the chosen activity. If you have medical conditions, mobility restrictions, or other special needs, you must inform us ahead of time.

Our guides will give you safety instructions and, where relevant, provide necessary safety equipment. You must follow all instructions.

Participation is at your own risk. We are not liable for injuries or accidents that occur due to your failure to follow instructions, personal negligence, or pre‑existing conditions.
6. Travel Documents & Responsibilities

You are responsible for obtaining and carrying valid travel documents (passport, visa, permits, vaccinations) as required.

We are not responsible if you are denied entry or access due to missing, invalid, or expired documentation.
7. Liability Limitations

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising out of providing (or failing to provide) services is limited to the amount paid for the booking.

We are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.

We are also not liable for delays, interruptions, or changes resulting from factors beyond our control (weather, road/transport issues, governmental actions, force majeure, etc.).
8. Conduct & Behaviour

You agree to treat our guides, local communities, fellow travellers, wildlife, environment and property with respect.

Behavior that is unsafe, illegal, abusive or disrespectful may lead to removal from the activity without refund.

You must comply with any local rules, regulations, and laws during your tour.
9. Use of Photos, Testimonials & Feedback

We may take photos and videos during tours. By participating, you grant us permission to use them for promotional and marketing purposes, unless you explicitly request otherwise.

We may request reviews or feedback. You consent to us using anonymised or attributed testimonials unless you request otherwise.
10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Uganda.

Any disputes arising will first be attempted to be resolved by communication between both parties. If unresolved, the courts of competent jurisdiction in Uganda will adjudicate.
